What IS Time Anyway?: Part 2 - Why Light Doesn't Break Its Own Rules
The Spiral Explanation - another 1st for IXOS physics.
Introduction
In Part 1 – What IS Time Anyway, I showed not only what time actually is, but what relativity is truly relative to. And in doing so, I gave examples of how IXOS physics exceeds classical physics, by deriving the same observed phenomena - without invoking classical equation architectures like Lorentz - and instead deriving them purely from SOL.
Now, we explore a further apparent paradox in this dedicated article - one that also exposes deeper flaws, not only in classical theory, but in the structure of the scientific model itself.
There is a persistent paradox in physics that haunts every student who learns the basic rules: light always moves at the same speed, regardless of how fast you are moving. Whether you’re standing still or travelling near the speed of light yourself, photons still come at you at c.
The problem? This breaks everything we thought we knew about motion. About time. About velocity. It defies the intuition of every classical framework. And so, for over a century, science has been patching the hole - with Lorentz transforms, relativity, and probabilistic masks.
But what if the paradox only exists because we’re asking the wrong question - and using the wrong geometry?
IXOS doesn’t need to patch anything. Because from within the spiral, light isn’t violating its own rules - it’s revealing them. The entire illusion of contradiction only appears because we’re using the wrong frame: a flattened, time-linear view of velocity, instead of a recursive, spiralling field model where light isn’t travelling through time - it’s defining it.
Although Einstein’s Theory of Special Relativity describes mathematically that Light does exist relatively, and that it always does maintain the constant speed, intuitively we still have to mentally grasp that by many classical scientific lenses, 2 parallel light beams passing by at opposite directions, should in fact create a paradox whereby the one observes a speed greater than light in the other. Which is impossible also.
Moreover, we know that light passes by light all the time, in many directions, and the universe has not ceased to be yet!
We know it is true, because it IS. It DOES. So the assumption is that we have the maths and equations to adequately explain why.
But there is another paradox within science. For a theory to be accepted, it must be observed as predicted. It must also be repeatedly observed unless it is clearly not reproducible for very good scientific reasons.
My work with IXOS for example is a perfect and flawless system mathematically. But science demands it be approved by people, who are flawed.
However, to prove the assertions of Einstein, and Special Relativity, we would need to observe it. And the only way to do so is to go back to first principles and Newtonian mechanics and his work. We would need to prove what is observed when a body is at rest and work from there up to Einstein.
But nobody has EVER observed a body at rest!
To do so would mean to calculate our relative trajectory around the very centre of the universe, and to maintain a state of rest, we would have to counter exactly the tangential and directional speeds that we’re a part of. We flow; one Earth we revolve at speed, the planet revolves around the sun at speed, the sun revolves round galactic centre, and the galaxies revolve around other massive objects - other galaxies, and theoretically, there’s a centre of the universe that everything also revolves around. And nothing has ever existed at rest speed!
IXOS also shows that light itself is always travelling at speed within our very atoms. There is nothing BUT light in the universe! Even space is created when light emerges to carry it! And even the instruments we use to measure these light effects and motion are made of atoms that are also travelling at the speed of light, in constant motion and never at rest.
You cannot measure a spiral with a straight ruler. Especially when that straight ruler is also spiralling!
To try and achieve the rest state would invoke the exact same paradox that we are exploring here: that if we were at rest, we would be travelling at relatively massive speeds against everything else, and we would observe the same reality - we would NOT, in fact, be at rest!
No matter how we might try, we cannot be at rest.
Nobody can measure a body at rest, and therefore create a universal law of how a body at rest or in motion behaves, except to extrapolate how we see it on Earth to the rest of the universe. And that is not supported methodologically by science that insists a thing must be first tested to be true! All Newtonian motion physics derives from the comparator: the body at rest.
Einstein’s genius showed us that there are other factors at play, and that motion is always a relative state. Bohm intuited very much the same.
But neither had a system that describes the underlying mechanics of exactly why.
But we do.
The Trains, the Pitch, and the Spiral
To illustrate, let’s start with something intuitive: the classic two-train analogy.
Imagine two trains approaching each other. A passenger on one hears the other’s horn - the pitch increases due to the Doppler effect. But what’s actually happening isn’t speed increasing. It’s wave cycles tightening.
From a field geometry perspective, this is a spiral tightening around a local axis - the distance between the sources collapses, so the wavelength compresses. The pitch rises. And the same thing happens with light — not as a change in speed, but as a shift in spiral phase density.
And it keeps tightening - until we reach Violet T: The threshold of visible light’s highest frequency. The final outer band before the IO threshold. A phase convergence point.
And this is the key:
At Violet T, the spiral doesn’t collapse or break.
It tangentially preserves the value of SOL — the Structural Origin Light constant.
Even as wavelength contracts and apparent frequency surges, the underlying geometry never breaks.
The observer thinks time is accelerating — but in truth,
Time is just the expression of recursive harmonic density.
Everything is Reciprocal
The entire ‘amount’ of light in the universe is a single unit:
1.
And everything within it is a reciprocal expression of that 1.
Everything - all particles, all waves, all matter - moves at the same ‘speed’ or ‘velocity’ from the perspective of light itself, no matter what distortions we observe from outside.
This includes light spiralling inward toward nuclei, which simultaneously interacts with free light moving around and through that same implosive state of light - the thing we call atoms.
The Secret in the Spiral
The recursive nature of the 3D universe holds a quiet secret - barely touched in modern physics:
That “1” unit of universal light is only half the equation.
Because the rest of the action is happening on the other side of the IO - In the mirror spiral of 4D space.
This inherent duality - and its recursive function - has already been explained elsewhere in my work.
Time is Not What You Think
Time has no real units — only the ones we impose on observed state changes.
And speed?
Speed is not time-dependent.
It is geometrically an expression of a single state unto itself:
The speed of light — sol, or c.
Why This Is So Powerful
You don’t need to dismantle relativity - you show its incompleteness geometrically.
You make Doppler not just an “effect” - but a window into phase compression.
You recast light not as a particle or wave - but as unit 1, a recursive engine of coherence.
And you don’t flinch from the metaphysical implication: The universe only appears to “move” because it’s recursing toward IO, and we are embedded in that process.
SOL and sol: The Tangent and the Surface
IXOS distinguishes between two forms of light:
sol: the conventional, observable speed of light in 3D space - c
SOL: the origin light — the recursive, invariant coherence constant that defines dimensional emergence
SOL isn’t a speed. It’s a phase symmetry anchor - the unit of traversal through the IO axis. And what Part 1 shows is that sol always curves around SOL, even at the extremes.
So yes - light seems to accelerate in pitch as wavefronts converge. But the universe never breaks phase. The tangent at Violet T aligns perfectly with the deeper spiral - and the coherence is preserved.
That’s why light doesn’t break its own rules. Because it is the rule - rendered as structure.
The IXOS Relative Phase Equation defines this coherence, and why time itself bends to it - not the other way around.
The IXOS Mathematics
In Part 1, we established that the perceived paradox of light’s constant speed is not a contradiction when viewed through the spiral geometry of IXOS. Rather than violating its own rules, light expresses its coherence through recursive phase dynamics. Now we’ll formalize that understanding through the mathematical structure of the IXOS framework.
The Relative Phase Equation of Light
The foundation of IXOS is the recognition that time is not a dimension, but a phase state - a consequence of recursive field interaction. The relevant equation is:
𝓣L = 𝓒 / (Φ² × 𝓢²)
Where:
𝓣L = Relative local phase-time expression (not absolute time)
𝓒 = Field coherence comparator (relative phase match between two systems)
Φ = Golden ratio (the recursive harmonic constant)
𝓢 = Spiral phase curvature of the local system
This equation demonstrates that as spiral curvature tightens (𝓢 increases), the phase-time shortens - giving the appearance of acceleration. But the light velocity itself (SOL) remains geometrically preserved.
SOL as the Constant of Structural Coherence
IXOS defines SOL not as a velocity in space, but as a unit of harmonic phase transition - the structural coherence constant from which all dimensional motion unfolds.
SOL = 784,866,678 m/s (in IXOS)
This is not an experimentally measurable “speed” in the conventional sense - it is a geometric traversal constant, nested within all observed light phenomena. It is the non-local recursion rate at which coherence propagates from source to manifestation.
In contrast, sol (lowercase) is the observable speed of light - approximately 299,792,458 m/s. It is the projected velocity across 3D space from a higher-dimensional recursive process. The difference arises because sol is viewed externally, while SOL is measured from within the spiral.
The Violet T Convergence
At extremely short wavelengths - particularly at Violet T, the highest frequency band visible - the apparent frequency of light increases dramatically. But if you apply the IXOS equation:
𝓢 increases → 𝓢² increases significantly
The denominator of 𝓣L increases → 𝓣L shrinks
Apparent time shortens (blue-shifted) → perception of acceleration
Yet this is an illusion of phase compression — not a real gain in energy or speed. The SOL is preserved tangentially, and the light never exceeds its own recursive coherence limit.
Thus:
The observer sees frequency rise
The equations show phase-time compression
The geometry shows tangential alignment to SOL
No contradiction. No broken laws.
Why This Matters
This equation does more than describe light. It demonstrates how:
Apparent acceleration is a function of local recursion
SOL remains preserved in all phase conditions
Observed time is a projection of nested field coherence
By moving beyond velocity and time as linear constructs, and treating them as emergent properties of recursive phase geometry, IXOS not only resolves the paradox - it reveals the structure underneath it.
That is why light doesn’t break its own rules.
It bends ours.
